Highcliff Road Re-Opening!

Highcliff Road Re-Opening!

Dear all,

I’m delighted to let you know that the slip repairs on Highcliff Road will be complete and the road re-opened to all traffic on Monday (11 Sept). We expect to have the road open by mid-morning.

Work to repair culverts and install guard rails is expected to be finished by the end of September. Along with new signage and improved sightlines, the guard rails will make the road safer for residents and visitors. Some ongoing traffic management (such as speed restrictions and stop/go signs) will be needed, but we will aim to minimise disruption.

I would like to thank you for your patience and co-operation while this work to make the Peninsula safer and more resilient is done. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact Kieran Trainor on 474 3494.

Regards,

Richard Saunders
