Another regatta day about 1904, with a few holidaymakers out for a walk along the new curve of Portobello Road with the entrance to Matariki Street off to the right. The track above Portobello Road is the remains of Harrington Point Road and the bank between the two is much less steep than it is today. The gate on the right hand side of the second mound is still there.
