Portobello Road early 1900's. Some of the original piles of the short jetty on right (with the boat at the end), opposite what is now the slip site, are still visible at very low tide. One of the Nees' boat sheds/jetties is at the foot of Camp Road/Street. They had two, the other at the bottom of King George Street, for their two keelers, "Waiata" and "Dawn"
