Good Afternoon I’m writing to update you about work on the major slip on Highcliff Road that occurred in heavy rain in April. Slip repairs began in early October and are expected to be finished by the end of the year. For part of the project, the road has been closed between Sandymount and Seaton Roads while drilling and excavation take place. Update on Peninsula Connection – August Construction is well underway on the section of the Peninsula Connection between Turnbulls Bay and Portobello. The project includes road widening and construction of a shared path for pedestrians and cyclists. In some areas, the road will be raised to protect it during high tides.
