Sevengill Shark Dissection

Sunday 16 September, 2-5pm

A limited number of places will be available for the scientific dissection of the 2.5 metre Sevengill Shark which was washed up on Allans Beach on the Otago Peninsula in 2017 and retrieved by the NZ Marine Studies Centre to be used for research and education. Please note that as this dissection takes place in an outdoor location (partially covered), participants need to dress warmly in wind-proof clothing, and it is unsuitable for younger children.
