Everyone has a tale to tell. As part of the 2023 celebrations of the settlement of Broad Bay, we started collecting tales from people who have connections to this place, Whaka Oho Rahi. There are stories about lives, homes, ancestors and institutions that make Broad Bay what it is today. It is like a time capsule that may be explored by future generations. The first 25 stories have been published in a book: ‘Broad Bay Reflections’. All stories that come our way will be published on this website (and may be part of Volume 2).
