The Dunoon sub-division of 1876, split off at the same time as John Styles' Oban sub-division. It was treated as a "town", and there were to be streets right around Yellow Head peninsula. The reserve for the Broad Bay cemetery is marked. The Broad Bay School was probably built on sections 2, 3 and 8 in the following year.
