The Broad Bay Vistas’ sub-division was, until 2020, a small, relatively steep paddock carrying a few sheep towards the top of the first rise on Camp Street. It was sold to a developer in 2020, and the original sub-division was posted in May, 2021. It took time for the land to be terraced, and for these major earthworks to settle and stabilise, which included major piping of the land, with a built-in pond at the foot of the sub-division, above the creek. An entrance road to the sub-division was formed in 2022, and the first properties began to sell, initially the top five terraces to the left of the new road, and the two sections off Camp Street directly below the original owners’ property. Fairly strict conditions – both construction and property – have been placed on all the sections.
