Moon at the Bottom of the Garden

front

Hello friends and neighbours. I am Sarah McDougall, a playwright living in Broad Bay and am producing my new play Moon at the Bottom of the Garden. It is to première as part of the Arts Festival Dunedin on October 10th at the Auditorium of the Dunedin Public Art Gallery.

Moon at the Bottom of the Garden follows the life of a ‘widgie’, Rosie, a young tear-away from the 1950s caught up in the Jukebox Killing and shows the young within the old, living memories and intergenerational consequences passed-forward. It is about a facet of New Zealand history, addiction, family and humour.

We have a cracker of a cast. One drama of the drama was that Shirley Kelly, our lead actor has had to pull out but in her place Irene Wood, (Go Girls, Outrageous Fortune, is flying down to do the role.

I have a limited number of special price tickets to offer Broad Bay.

The normal ticket price is $35/$25.

$15 tickets to the matinee Thursday 16th October at 1pm.

A block of ten tickets for $20 each to any other performance. (Ten performances)

To buy these these tickets, please message me via facebook.com/moonatthebottomofthegarden

Tell me your name number of tickets and date of performance and I will confirm

Hope you come, this play is my best yet.

Kind regards

Sarah McDougall
