A hearty thanks to Michelle Watt from Workplace First Aid Training for recently walking a group of locals through basic CPR and how to use the AED (automated external defibrillator) installed at the Broad Bay Boat Club. [Seriously, the machine will talk you through all the steps, so anyone can use it to save a life…] This is an invaluable resource for our wee community, which we now have thanks to multiple generous neighbours’ support.
