Broad Bay – Whaka Oho Rahi – Looking Back, Moving Forward
Friday 20th to Sunday 29th October 2023 (incorporates Labour weekend)

The next meeting to progress the planning of this event is Thursday 14th September, 7.30pm at Broad Bay Hall. All welcome!

The historic photographic exhibition will be open to the public from Saturday 21st to Sunday 29th October, and as part of the event, a Broad Bay Gala Day has now been scheduled for Sunday 22nd October 2023.

The Gala Day will feature live bands and entertainment, including award-winning children’s performer Rainbow Rosalind, children’s games and activities, food, prizes and raffles, heritage boats, 100th Anniversary Regatta, “Images of the Past” vintage parade. Dressing up is encouraged (with prizes for the best dressed!).

We are seeking volunteers to assist in setting up the exhibition and the Gala day, and to help fill in some time slots on the roster during the event itself.
